It’s silly, and I wouldn’t drive it as is, but:

- a Newport is no unicorn

- wouldn’t be too hard to get rid of the silliness (this includes those wheels, ugh)

- I can't imagine the guy who did this took himself too seriously. I hope

I love how this shot highlights that the wings on the Superbird and Daytona were quite different. A lot less in common between those cars than you'd think.

Fortunately the wing unbolts easily. I could even live with the Cragar rims and the hood, but that wing looks goddamn goofy on that car.

As a stock appearing car, it’s a cool old boat to cruise around in. (like in that B-52s song) But put Cragars on it and an air grabber hood and that ridiculous wing and you’ve now created a clown car without the clowns.

I could forgive the air grabber except I’m betting they’ve got it wedged in the up position. I actually like Cragars. They wouldn’t be my first choice of this particular car, but they could’ve done much worse.

They should be hung for putting that wing on there though.

Cragars look good on shoebox Chevys, but not this. Any factory Mopar wheel would look better on this car I think . And the air grabber hood is half-assed because it’s missing the turkey pan under the air cleaner to seal to the scoop so it’s probably not doing a whole lot .
